Retro Rubber Challenge #50...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! We have a photo inspiration for you and it’s all about fall colors!

I was inspired by all of the fall colors in the trees so naturally I used my SU! Lovely As A Tree stamp set. I have had this stamp set for four or five years and I am not sure how long it’s been around before that. rrcb 50 1 (640x514)

I used my chalks and colored up the trees, ground and sky. Then I added a piece of fall plaid and a thin piece of copper foil to finish off the card. I couldn’t decide on a sentiment so I didn’t use one! rrcb 50 2 (640x354)

Be sure to play along with us and link up your colorful creations HERE!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow!

Supplies: CS: PTI white and kraft. LF fall plaid. SU! copper foil paper. Stamps: SU! lovely as a tree. Inks: SU! early espresso. Chalks. Other: PTI linen impression plate.

Copper Trees...

Happy Monday! I have been in a fall (not foul! LOL!) mood lately. This year, I just can’t get into Halloween at all, just in making fall related cards. Anyway, I am jumping in today with another fallish card using the sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, natch!

I started by using some yummy fall papers that I die cut using stitched rectangles. Then I die cut a stitched circle and layered on my card. fms 1 (522x640)

I added my sentiment and then die cut these luscious copper trees. I popped them up for a bit of dimension. I am loving this copper paper from Stampin’ Up! If you haven’t tried it, go get some! You will thank me for that bit of advice! fms 2 (640x446)

That’s it for me today! Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with a new Retro Rubber Challenge.

Supplies: CS: SU! white, crumbcake, and copper foil paper. Lawn Fawn fall plaid. Dies: Penny Black two trees. MFT horizontal stitched stripes, and double stitched circles. PTI linen impression plate. Stamps: Clearly Besotted message me.

Witches For The Brown Sugar Challenge...

Today we start a new challenge at the Brown Sugar Challenge. Our theme is anything goes with our sponsor of Dr. Digi’s.

I opted to stick with a Halloween theme with this cute witch called Witchy Wilma! I used my ziggy’s and did a little watercoloring of the image. bsc 1 (537x640)

When I downloaded the image, I added this fun sentiment as I knew I didn’t have any sentiments that were worthy of this image! bsc 2 (640x543)

After coloring Wilma, I cut her out, adhered her to the card base and added some twine. Be sure to play along with us this week and link up HERE!

Thanks for stopping by today! I am off for the weekend! My posts may be sporadic next week – it just depends on my crafting schedule!

Supplies: CS: SU! white and elegant eggplant. Stamps: Dr. Digi witchy Wilma. Other: MFT zig zag circles. Twine.

CASing Shannon...

I made today’s card to case Shannon Jaramillo’s card shown HERE. And by accident, I can play along with the Paper Player’s CAS challenge of using leaves on a card.

So I inked up the leaves and vines in spring moss and then stamped over the top again with some bright buttercup. pp 1 (571x640)

The pumpkins were added one at a time and then I stamped the sentiment. Using this lovely orange plaid paper, I added it to the sides to follow Shannon’s card. Then I attached to a card base of kraft with some enamel dots to finish it off. pp 2 (640x337)

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!

Supplies: CS: PTI white. LF fall plaid. Sentiments: PTI autumn adornments. Inks: PTI spring moss, summer sunrise and bright buttercup. Memento black. Other: Enamel dots.

Today’s CAS card is for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

I started by stamping the sentiment and then adding silver foil tape and some glittery washi tape. cts 1 (570x640)

The enamel dots were a last minute add that puts a little more of the aqua color across the card front. cts 2 (640x361)

Supplies: PTI white. Stamps: PTI graceful greetings 2. Other: Washi, enamel dots, and linen impression plate.

Retro Rubber Challenge #49 part two...

I used my retired SU! Tee Hee Hee stamps again and the color challenge from the Fab Friday Challenge. rrcb 49 3 (550x640)

I stamped a clothesline and stamped the hat three times in old olive, pumpkin pie and perfect plum. I added the clothespins and the sentiment in black. rrcb 49 4 (640x366)

Be Still...

Today’s card was made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started by die cutting pattern paper with my mini scallop stitched square. I also die cut a piece of white cardstock and then added the sentiment. fms 1 (535x640)

I die cut the fishtail flag, added some twine, and layered everything according to the sketch. fms 2 (640x357)

A huge thank you to Hannelie and the crew at Paper Players for choosing THIS card as A Cut Above! I was thrilled that my CAS card made the cut!

Yellow Mums...

Thanks to the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember celebration I was able to pick up these beautiful chrysanthemums layering stamps. So easy to use to create flowers that look like you spent hours on them. 1 (542x640)

I stamped three flowers and added a few leaves. After stamping the sentiment, I ran the card thru my linen plate and was done. 2 (640x451)

I am entering this card in a new challenge site called The Flower Challenge! Love it! I have tons of flowers so I am looking forward to playing along with them regularly!

Thanks for stopping by! I am off for the weekend so I will see you back here on Monday!

Halloween Specs...

I played along with the Paper Players color challenge to use black, pumpkin pie and wild wasabi.

As I was looking for some stamps, I came across these eyeglasses and thought – why not? pp 1 (560x640)

So I stamped one in each color, added the sentiment and was done. pp 2 (640x412)

A huge THANK YOU to Monika and the crew at Sunday Stamps for selecting THIS card as a Top Cup!  What an honor!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!

Supplies: CS: PTI white. Stamps: SU! pumpkin pie and wild wasabi. Memento black. Stamps: SSS I see you. Dies: PTI linen impression plate.

Merry Little Trees...

I rarely play along with the same challenge twice in a week but I am today with CAS(E) this Sketch.

I started by stamping trees in a vertical stripe and then adding the trimmings. I stamped the sentiment and then ran the card thru the linen plate. cts 1 (531x640)

I added the enamel stars because Christmas trees should have stars, right? I think I played a bit fast and loose with this challenge but it was a great jumping off point for a card that would be easy to mass produce! cts 2 (640x506)

Thank you to the crew at CAS(E) this Sketch for selecting THIS card as a favorite!  I am thrilled!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow!

Supplies: CS: PTI white. Stamps: SSS/W+9 holiday trimmings. Stamps: PTI pure poppy, ripe avocado, and spring moss. Memento black. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. Other: SU! enamel stars.
