I am using one of the images from the Fall Sentiments stamp set. I kept my card really clean and simple to focus on the sentiment. We always should remember to be thankful!

Retro Rubber Challenge #51 part two...

It’s the second week of the Retro Rubber Challenge! I opted to go with a simple leaf and sentiment.

RRCB 51

I inked up the leaf in several fall colors and stamped on the cardstock. I added the sentiment and then used a stitched rectangle to die cut the card front.

Retro Rubber Challenge #51...

Welcome to the new Retro Rubber Challenge! This challenge is a color inspiration challenge with a thankful theme thrown in.

RRCB 51

I started with the wheat image from the Stampin’ Up! set Truly Grateful. It’s been out since at least 2013. I stamped it in crushed curry and then added the sentiment from the PTI Autumn Hills set (circa 2012).

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 51 1 (527x640)

After die cutting the card front using a stitched rectangle, I layered it on two other stitched rectangles. I wanted to make sure I put all the colors in so I added a few strips underneath everything.

A Yellow Leaf...

Happy Monday! I am back with a super CAS card for you!

Www.seejanestamp.com 7 (536x640)

I started by stamping the outline of the leaf in black. Then using second generation stamping, stamped one layer in a light crushed curry and the top layer with the “full strength” crushed curry.

I added the sentiment and ran the card thru the linen impression plate. I need a batch of fall cards so I plan to whip up a bunch of these and change out the sentiment.

Layered Up For House Of Cards...

Welcome to a new House of Cards Challenge! This month we want you to make a layered card, use these lovely colors or both! I opted to go with a layered card but use fall colors instead.

November Lots of layers and or colors

I die cut stitched panels in more mustard and cajun craze. Then I die cut a fishtail flag out of white and a layer of printed vellum.

A Fall Rainbow...

It’s Wednesday and time for me to join the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge. I was searching thru my stencils when I happened upon this brand new retro circles stencil from Stamplorations. I had forgotten that I had this so I decided to use it to do a fall rainbow!

Using a cotton ball (someday I will spring for some sponge daubers!) and a variety of inks I got started. I started on the right with cajun craze, added crushed curry, some pumpkin pie and finished up with old olive.

I added the sentiment and then ran the card thru the linen impression plate. Sorry – I am so hooked on that thing that someone may need to stage an intervention! LOL!

Retro Rubber Challenge #50...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! We have a photo inspiration for you and it’s all about fall colors!

RRCB 50

I was inspired by all of the fall colors in the trees so naturally I used my SU! Lovely As A Tree stamp set. I have had this stamp set for four or five years and I am not sure how long it’s been around before that.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 50 1 (640x514)

I used my chalks and colored up the trees, ground and sky. Then I added a piece of fall plaid and a thin piece of copper foil to finish off the card. I couldn’t decide on a sentiment so I didn’t use one!

Copper Trees...

Happy Monday! I have been in a fall (not foul! LOL!) mood lately. This year, I just can’t get into Halloween at all, just in making fall related cards. Anyway, I am jumping in today with another fallish card using the sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, natch!

I started by using some yummy fall papers that I die cut using stitched rectangles. Then I die cut a stitched circle and layered on my card.

Www.seejanestamp.com fms 1 (522x640)

I added my sentiment and then die cut these luscious copper trees. I popped them up for a bit of dimension. I am loving this copper paper from Stampin’ Up! If you haven’t tried it, go get some! You will thank me for that bit of advice!

That’s it for me today! Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back tomorrow with a new Retro Rubber Challenge.

Supplies: CS: SU! white, crumbcake, and copper foil paper. Lawn Fawn fall plaid. Dies: Penny Black two trees. MFT horizontal stitched stripes, and double stitched circles. PTI linen impression plate. Stamps: Clearly Besotted message me.

CASing Shannon...

I made today’s card to case Shannon Jaramillo’s card shown HERE. And by accident, I can play along with the Paper Player’s CAS challenge of using leaves on a card.

So I inked up the leaves and vines in spring moss and then stamped over the top again with some bright buttercup.

Www.seejanestamp.com pp 1 (571x640)

The pumpkins were added one at a time and then I stamped the sentiment. Using this lovely orange plaid paper, I added it to the sides to follow Shannon’s card. Then I attached to a card base of kraft with some enamel dots to finish it off.

Fall Birthdays...

Hello Monday! Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and came up with a fall themed birthday card.

I started by stamping a variety of leaves that are multi layered stamps. I love stamps that allow you to give depth to an image without doing anything. Just adding another stamp in a darker color!

Www.seejanesetamp.com fms 1 (530x640)

I added the birthday sentiment and then using a curved die, cut a lovely curve in the card front and in the cajun craze layer as well. After I adhered the card front to the base, I decided to continue the curved feel on the base.

Www.seejanesetamp.com fms 2 (640x507)

I love how this turned out as it is going to a good friend who recently celebrated their 50th birthday.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow as we will be starting a new Retro Rubber Challenge.
