Retro Rubber Challenge #64...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! It’s Anything Goes!

RRCB 64

So as freaked out as an anything goes challenge makes me, I somehow found some inspiration and whipped up this beauty.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 64 1 (542x640)

I started by stamping these circle images in varying colors. I am using my Clearly Besotted Sunburst stamps circa 2015. Then I stamped some circles on scrap paper and die cut with my mini scallop die.

I added the sentiment, popped up the square and added a few dots. I am really pleased with this card!

Then I printed out my digi daisies and used chalks to color them in. I die cut in this fun shape and popped up on the paper. I added the sentiment and a bit of twine (which you can hardly see) and was done.

Floral Blessings...

Today I am playing along with The Flower Challenge. Their challenge is to CASE a design team member. I opted to CASE Karren as I love her clean and simple style. Below is the challenge image and Karren’s card.

Stenciled Flower

Using a mixture of Altenew ocean waves and dusk inks, I stamped up this floral outline. Then I added a sentiment and ran thru the linen impression plate.

I dug out my diagonal scoring tool and scored some lines. This was my take on Karren’s stenciling. You can also see that I used her colors of blues and black on my image and sentiment.

I die cut the card front with a stitched rectangle and then popped it up on the card base. This was such a fun challenge to re-imagine a DT member! Great idea!!

Thanks for stopping by! I will be back next week!

Supplies: PTI white. Inks: Altenew ocean waves and dusk. Stamps: Rubbernecker bouquet. MFT cheerful blessings. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. MFT blueprint 13.

Retro Rubber Challenge #62...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! Since it’s May, we need to have some May flowers! Use flowers on your card along with at least one stamp older than a year.

RRCB 62

I started with these cute poppies from My Favorite Things that came out in 2015.  The outline was stamped first then I added the fill in color using second generation stamping.

I stamped the sentiment then ran it thru the linen impression plate and the mini scallop rectangle die. I added the linen thread and pearls/dots before popping up the card front on a crumbcake base.

RRCB 61

I started by running some watercolor paper thru my sheet music impression plate and then adding a few colors for a rainbow effect.
