Friendship...

Happy Monday all! Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started by stamping some random splatter in crushed curry and tangerine tango before adding a couple of strips of washi tape.

Then I stamped the sentiment, die cut and popped it up with some dimensionals. After adding it to the card base, I thought a few enamel dots were in order.

Then I punched some bitty butterflies in other rainbow colors and adhered them to the watercolor paper to give the full effect of a rainbow.

Retro Rubber Challenge #61...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! Just use buttons on your card and a stamp older than a year and you are good to go!

RRCB 61

I started with my PTI Fancy Footworks stamp set from 2013. This was a stamp set that I had to have when it came out because I loved the dance steps.  So I stamped the “her” steps in harvest gold and the “his” steps in blueberry sky. I ran the card front and the card base thru the linen impression plate as well.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 61 1 (552x640)

I stamped the sentiment and cut out using my washi tape die. I also die cut a couple more washi tapes in yellow and blue so I could layer them up.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 61 2 (640x425)

I layered the front over some crushed curry and then put everything together on a base of midnight muse. Be sure to play along with us and link up HERE!

I am entering this card in the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

A huge thank you to Nance at Paper Players for selecting THIS card as A Cut Above!

On a personal note, my life outside of card making (not that we like to admit we have one *wink*) has gotten a bit more hectic than I expected so I am rolling back the number of posts that I typically do each week. I hope to post 2-3 times a week but it may be down to once a week for a while. Thank you for understanding!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

#148 4.21.17

I started with the SU! number of years set and stamped the floral image using all three colors – pink pirouette, garden green and so saffron. Then I backed the white with a piece of so saffron and garden green.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 148 1 (578x640)

I opted to use some vanilla cream to house the sentiment and die cut using my washi tape die. I adhered everything in accordance with the sketch that I borrowed from the Fusion Challenge.
