When I was a kid, our neighborhood would run bike races.  It would be an all afternoon event, lucky for us we lived on a street that wasn’t very busy.  We even made ribbons to give to the winners.  This bike makes me think of those races.  Good times!

I made this card using cardstock, ribbon and dots that I had in my stash.  The image is from a retired Stampin’ Up! Set – Pedaling Past.  For the background I used SU! retired shimmer paint and a scrunched up piece of wax paper to “sponge” the cardstock.  A simple technique I rarely use which is a shame, it makes a beautiful background.
