Chick? Or Treat?

I had a little fun with this card.  I bought the get well soon stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn a while ago because I thought they would make a cheery get well card for someone should I need to make one.  But a couple of days ago I started thinking about the little nurse chick (bird?) and thought – why couldn’t the chick be dressed up as a nurse for Halloween?  And what if I played around with the standard “trick or treat”?  This is what I ended up with:

I perched the chick at the center of the spider web (a treat for the spider perhaps?) that I made using an embossing folder and then added the sentiment – which I doctored a bit to say “chick”.    It was a quick and easy card to make up and will probably end up being what I take for my October stamp club, unless I end up making something that I like better!
