Happy Birthday Wishes...
Just a pop of color…

It’s the Great Pumpkin...

Or maybe not!  But I made my own little pumpkin patch in hopes that the Great Pumpkin will appear on Halloween night.  Isn’t that the way the story goes?  I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and will just be able to sneak my card in at the last minute.

I started off with a piece of burlap ribbon that I disassembled a bit so I could pull a few strands of burlap off of it.  Then I found my MFT fancy flourish die as I thought it would make the most excellent vines if I staged it just right.  When I glued everything down, the pumpkins made me think that if a fairy Godmother were to appear, she would have the vines and the pumpkins to make a coach!

Finally I stamped a sentiment from the PTI garden variety 2 stamp set as I thought it was quite appropriate for this time of year.

All in all, a fairly easy card to replicate if you had to make a few of them.  And don’t worry, I do not have plans to hang out in the pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear!
