Gone fishin'...
October 22, 2014
I belong to a group of business people that meet once a month to cover current issues and share work experiences. One of these wonderful people is planning to retire at the end of November. How exciting for Tom! I believe it is 30 plus years. Well deserved. He will be missed from our group! We are giving him a proper send off with a mini retirement party of our own. I am in charge of the cards for this group and almost forgot I said I would make a retirement card for him!
I don’t know if Tom fishes but I thought this stamp was quite appropriate anyway! I started off with some Stampin’ Up! cajun crazy and mossy meadow cardstock and topped it off with the color me autumn DSP.
I stamped the image using memento black on very vanilla and used colored pencils to color the image. I combined a couple sentiments to create the “happy retirement” for Tom. A couple of rhinestones and the card was complete. Enjoy your retirement Tom!
Supplies: CS: SU! cajun craze, mossy meadow, very vanilla, color me autumn DSP. Ink: memento black, colored pencils. Stamps: PTI keep it simple happy birthday and year round happiness. Stamp from stash. Rhinestones.
