Today’s SU! Gentle Peace has two pictures.  I started out with a plain version and then decided to color.  I embossed the image with pool party embossing powder, cut it out and layered it on pool party CS.  The base was made with Bermuda bay and pool party CS and a piece of the motley monsters dsp.  I wrapped pool party twine around the layers to mimic the lines in the stained glass.

 After taking pictures and discovering how difficult it was to get a clear picture, I decided to color the image.  I opted to keep the palette of the papers and used the coastal cabana blendies.  I like the monochromatic feel of the card and was glad that I colored it.

As I said yesterday, I really like this stamp and expect it will show up on some of my Christmas cards.
