Thank you...

I saw THIS card that Beth Beard made recently and I decided I needed to case the idea.  My card did not turn out as beautifully as Beth’s but I will use this technique again.

Beth said that she clear embossed these SU! autumn accents die cuts after sponging ink on white CS.  What an awesome look the clear embossing gives the leaves.  I embossed strips of CS and then cut.  Mine turned out with white specks but I am going with the idea that it gives the leaves character.

Anyway, I made this card for a gift I received recently.   Quite by accident, I layered the naturals white on hello honey and then I realized that I meant to choose a different layering color.  But I think it was a happy accident.  I like the effect of the same color layered on each other.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:  CS:  SU! mossy meadow, cajun craze, hello honey and naturals – white.  Stamps:  SU! Another thank you.  Ink:  Memento rich cocoa.  Die:  SU! autumn accents.  Other:  SU! crushed curry twine and clear embossing powder.
