Hello all! Last week I played along with the Pals Paper Arts color challenge. I was fortunate to be one of their picks with THIS CARD. A huge thank you to the PPA team! They have a fun challenge site and strike a great balance with their color and sketch challenges. So guess what that means? Yep. I am playing along again this week!
This week is a Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge. I really didn’t have any idea of what I was going to do. Until I made the birthday card I posted yesterday. When I was digging around in the typeset specialty paper, I noticed that one of the maps had the Island of Malta on it. Well, I had to use that!! After all, I live in Malta MT. In case you are wondering, or even if you are not!, Malta MT was named after the Island of Malta. Somebody, back in the day, spun the globe and stuck their finger on it to stop it – smack on the Island of Malta. Thus, the name of our town came to be.
So I decided to showcase that piece of paper and pulled out The Open Sea stamp set to compliment it. Once again, I am all black and vanilla. I quickly layered up the papers as required by the sketch and ran them thru the PTI linen impression plate. I stamped the map on very vanilla and layered it on black and then popped it up with some dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by today! Don’t forget about the Retro Rubber challenge – it’s all about the embossing powder!
