I'm wining for Pals Paper Arts...
Spring is in the air...

It's a lotus blossom spring...

Can you believe spring is supposed to be here?  We certainly aren’t having much spring weather yet but at least it isn’t snow!  So in honor of spring, I decided to make something with flowers!

My color inspiration came from the All Abloom paper stack.  The pattern I chose reminds me of the 1950’s for some reason.  And it gave me a chance to use strawberry slush – a color I am not overly crazy about and seldom, if ever, use.  I used the SU! lotus blossom stamp set because I thought it married well with the paper.  Plus, I love the look you get from second and third generation stamping.

I am taking advantage of the SugarPea SugarSketch challenge to help put this card together.  I added a few pearls and a sentiment to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I am off Saturday but will be back on Sunday!  Shocker – yes?  I am guesting over on Mary Fish’s Stampin’ Pretty blog and am super excited about that!  So be sure to stop in!

Supplies:  CS:  SU! mossy meadow, strawberry slush, naturals ivory, and all abloom dsp.  Stamps:  SU! lotus blossom.  Inks:  SU! mossy meadow and strawberry slush.  Other:  PTI argyle impression plate.  Pearls.
