YAY! Today is the day to share my Retro Rubber project! Our challenge this week is all about the emboss! We are asking you to make a project with embossing powder. And don’t forget to use stamps older than a year.
My project is made from an old ippity set called what matters most. This set has this beautiful wrought iron cross that I thought would look gorgeous when I embossed it. And I was right!
I started off by stamping the cross with versamark on PTI soft stone CS. I embossed using black embossing powder and then cut out the image using the MFT pierced ovals. I embossed the sentiment in black as well.
I took my embossing a bit further by using the beautifully baroque embossing folder. Please note that embossing folders do not meet the challenge requirements. I just thought it would add the right texture to my card. I added some ribbon and I was done. Simple but beautiful.
Be sure to join us in this challenge – just get out your embossing powder and your heat gun and get to work! You can link up your awesome projects HERE. (Remember to use stamps older than a year!)
Thanks for stopping by today!
