Retro Rubber Challenge #11...

Hello!  It’s Retro Rubber Challenge day!  We are starting our 11th challenge and this time it is a sketch challenge!  If you have been a follower of my blog, you may have noticed how I love a sketch challenge!  The only requirement to play along with Retro Rubber is to use stamps older than one year!  Easy – right?

Today’s card uses an old ippity set.  And it really didn’t take too long to put together – perfect if you are looking to mass produce cards!  I started off by using my SU! markers to color the stamp – so saffron, crushed curry, wild wasabi and baked brown sugar.  Then I stamped the sentiment in memento rich cocoa.

The papers today are all from PTI – kraft, rustic white, kraft stripes and harvest gold stripes.  I love how all of these papers coordinate so well.  And goes perfectly with my image!  It’s like I planned that or something! Ha!

It was just a matter of layering all together and adding some pearls and wood dots that I just picked up when I was out of town.

That’s it for me today!  Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to stop by tomorrow!

Now it’s time for you to get busy!  Get out your old stamps, follow our sketch and link up to the Retro Rubber challenge blog.  Click HERE.  It’s that easy!  Go….now….stamp….link up….!

Hi Jane,
I am a BIG fan of kraft paper in card making. I think today's card is really pretty. Well done. I like the look of pearls on kraft. Thanks for an awesome card idea!

Ooh Jane, I love the simplicity of this. The pearls really pop out against your card stock. Cx

I aDore this card, Jane. A lovely example of CAS. I will pin it just to see if I can replicate using SU supplies, LOL! Would make a great card for my stamp class... Thanks for sharing!
