Hello There Pals Paper Arts...
April 02, 2015
Happy Thursday! The week is almost over and Easter is just about here! So today should be an Easter card right? Well, it’s not! I made a fairly quick and easy card today for the Pals Paper Arts challenge. Their challenge today is a color challenge – crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding and kraft. A nice soft combo!
I used my SSS flowers on my mind stamp set to stamp a flower in crisp cantaloupe and pistachio pudding. I added a cute sentiment from Wplus9 and a few pearls.
At the last minute (well, not quite because the pearls wouldn’t be able to go thru the cuddlebug) I ran the rustic cream CS thru the PTI linen impression plate. I added a piece of PTI kraft striped paper and popped both pieces up on the base layer.
I am totally digging this card! I hope you do too! (I almost forgot! – I got this sketch from Retrosketches.)
That’s it for me today! Thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for an exciting announcement!
Wait…did you forget something? Retro Rubber – sketch – go, stamp, link up.
Supplies: CS: PTI rustic cream and kraft striped. Inks: SU! crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding. Memento black. Stamps: SSS flowers on my mind. Wplus9 strictly sentiments 2. Other: Pearls. PTI linen impression plate.

Really pretty CAS card, Jane. Love the background and the addition of the pearls. Thanks for joining us at the Pals Paper Arts this week.

I've never heard of that textured impressions plate before, I like it. Nice and simple. Great card - that's for sharing with us at Pals Paper Arts.
