For the birds...
Retro Rubber Challenge #14 part two...

Round and round...

I am starting off the week with a bit of whimsy.  I wanted to play along with a couple of challenges – CAS(E) this Sketch and Pals Paper Arts.  The sketch was easy compared to the color (daffodil delight, melon mambo, and tempting turquoise) challenge.  I finally decided that the only way I could make the colors work was to use this ferris wheel from the Lawn Fawn Admit One set.

I started off by stamping the ticket image in versamark and clear embossed it.  I thought the “string” of tickets would make a great twist on the sketch.  Then I used the SU! blendies and markers to color the ferris wheel.  I backed the card front with a piece of daffodil delight, melon mambo and tempting turquoise.  Then it was just a matter of putting it all together and adding some bling and candy dots.

I quite like how this turned out with my two favorite parts being the colors and the string of tickets.
