June Pals Blog Hop...
June 10, 2015
Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for June. This month we are excited to show off new Stampin' Up! products from the just released 2015 - 2016 annual catalog. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. Get your wish list ready!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Deb Cozzone at Deb Cozzone's Stamping Zone, number 14 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
Hello all! The new catalog is jam packed with goodies but my favorite new item is the Bohemian Borders stamp set. There is so much that you can do with this– create backgrounds, create borders, or add just that little bit of oomph that your project needs!
Today’s card starts with patterned paper that I made using some of the boho borders and the border stamp from the Butterfly Basics stamp set. I used two of the delicious new in colors – tip top taupe and delightful Dijon (which I want to call delicious Dijon – I can’t seem to help myself!) I paired those two colors with Bermuda bay and rich razzleberry for a muted color scheme.
Once my background paper was finished, I layered it up on matching cardstock. I added a small piece of Dijon that I ran thru the equally awesome boho chic embossing folder and topped off with a flagged sentiment, also stamped in Dijon. I finished my card with a spot of the new Dijon lace trim, linen thread and clothespin. Can you tell I like the new color Dijon? Way more than I thought I would and I think you will too!
The next stop is Maggie Mata at Maggie Made Cards, number 16 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!
