House of Cards Metallics Challenge...
Retro Rubber Challenge #20...

Hello Sunshine...

Hello all!  Happy Monday!  Today’s card was made with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the colors from the Color Throwdown challenge.

I started off by using my Simon Says Stamp sunshine die and die cut the word out of three colors – daffodil delight, elegant eggplant and garden green.  We have had a lot of sunshine lately and while that is great – we could use some rain.   But I am celebrating the sunshine anyway!

I used retired SU! confetti white paper for the card base – I adore this paper and tend to hoard it!  But I thought it would provide the right backdrop for this card.  A couple of strips of the natural chevron ribbon that I tied together provides the flag as required by the sketch and then I used the sunshines and the word hello to represent the square.  I was thinking a little outside the box – LOL!

A pretty simple card but one that I can use to send to someone who needs a pick me up!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Tomorrow starts the new Retro Rubber challenge so be sure to pop by to see what I made!

Supplies:  CS:  SU! confetti white, daffodil delight, elegant eggplant, and garden green.  Stamps:  WPLUS9 strictly sentiments 2.  Other:  SSS sunshine die.  SU! natural chevron ribbon and linen thread.
