I started off by using my Simon Says Stamp sunshine die and die cut the word out of three colors – daffodil delight, elegant eggplant and garden green. We have had a lot of sunshine lately and while that is great – we could use some rain. But I am celebrating the sunshine anyway!
I used retired SU! confetti white paper for the card base – I adore this paper and tend to hoard it! But I thought it would provide the right backdrop for this card. A couple of strips of the natural chevron ribbon that I tied together provides the flag as required by the sketch and then I used the sunshines and the word hello to represent the square. I was thinking a little outside the box – LOL!
A pretty simple card but one that I can use to send to someone who needs a pick me up!
Thanks for stopping by today! Tomorrow starts the new Retro Rubber challenge so be sure to pop by to see what I made!
