Flower Power for As You See It...

It is time for another As You See It Challenge!  This one is a sketch challenge and you know how I loves me a sketch challenge!!

I followed the sketch fairly closely with the exception of flipping the flowers to the right side of the sketch.  I did this because I had this gorgeous paper that would work perfectly for this challenge.

I die cut a piece of vanilla cardstock for the sentiment using the double stitched rectangles and then added a piece of calypso coral beneath it.  I added coral underneath the patterned paper as well – just a really thin strip of it shows.

I repeated the floral paper in the flag along with a piece of crumbcake to follow the sketch.  I love how this turned out!

Be sure to play along with us this week – this is a fun sketch and you can link up your project HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I am off for the weekend but will be back on Monday!

Supplies:  CS:  SU! very vanilla, crumbcake and calypso coral.  Pattern paper.  Stamps:  Simon Says Stamp floral bookmarking.  Dies:  MFT double stitched rectangle dies and stitched fishtail flag.  Button/twine.

I love your card Jane. The colours are just delicious and I'm sucker for newsprint backgrounds.
