I love the ombre effect! So much so that I whipped up another card for the Retro Rubber ombre challenge. This card was super easy to do. And uses my favorite ombre technique – a cotton ball and some ink.
I started off with a piece of white CS and grabbed the crushed curry ink. I ran a cotton ball over the ink pad and then rubbed it on the white paper working my way across the paper to create the ombre.
I added a sentiment and then ran the CS thru the linen impression plate. I popped up the card front on crumbcake and decided that nothing else was needed for the card. The yellow, white and black carried the card without the help of any other elements.
Now – go ombre your heart out (try the ink/cotton ball trick) and link your project up HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop by tomorrow!
