Retro Rubber Challenge #24...

Welcome to the new Retro Rubber challenge!  Summer has come to a close and the kids are back in school!  I know parents who are very excited by that!  Just in case you are missing summer - we are giving you a chance to relive your summer vacation!  Our challenge is to create a card inspired by travel!

Travel can be a lot of things – but you can’t go anywhere unless you have packed your bags!  So I broke out these fun suitcase stamps and created a pyramid of fall colors.  I also picked these colors because they remind me of the crazy colors that suitcases were in the 70's!

These suitcases are so much fun!  And the cosmetic case was the perfect place to put the sentiment!

Now it is up to you – go forth and be inspired by travel!  Hook up your super cool creations right HERE!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to pop in tomorrow!

Jane, this card is so much fun! I must admit that I didn't know suitcases were so colorful in the 70's. My family never went anywhere, I think. LOL I am so glad that you will be back soon - right?! You are coming back, aren't you? You haven't decided to stay... What's your address? I am coming to take you back so you have wifi! Miss you, Pal!

LOL, Debbie! Jane, I think she just might be serious....

I remember hard shell suitcases and my green one was not nearly as cute as your green one! Now, who would have thunk to use suitcase images for a travel theme... Brilliant!! Great autumn colors... won't you be glad to be back where there will be fall colors???? :)

Jane, I LOL because I clearly remember my Grandmother and my Ma taking me away in the late 70's and I a red suitcase not dissimilar to the one you have stamped here. I have sent a link to your post to my Ma, saying 'remember the red suitcase' literally we had the thing for YEARS... I love how crisp your stamping is and the sentiment sounds like an invitation - should I start packing? LOL. Cx

Looove the suitcases! I have a suitcase stamp I am dying to use. Thanks for the inspiration! Great color scheme and stamping!
