Lola's Challenge...
October 16, 2015
Today starts a new challenge for the As You See It challenge. Today’s challenge is very special! So please consider taking part!
One of our lovely design team members – Tara – has an equally lovely niece who has been battling cancer. Lola has her good days and her bad days so we are going to send Lola digital cards, hugs and prayers.
Now Lola is just like every other sweet nine year old little girl – she loves pink, unicorns and fairies. So we are asking you to make a card that incorporates any or all of these elements. Other elements that can be included is the color gold and words of encouragement.
I am sure we all know someone who has battled or is battling cancer. The only thing more insidious than cancer is the fact that cancer spares no one – the individual or the family. So please help us make Lola’s day! If you can’t make a card, please leave an encouraging comment on the challenge site for Lola to read.
For sweet Lola:
Thanks for stopping by today! I am off for the weekend so be sure to stop in on Monday!
Supplies: CS: SU! crumbcake, pink pirouette and melon mambo. PTI white. Inks: SU! pink pirouette. Memento black. Stamps: PTI brushed off. Simon Says Stamp prayers. SU! perpetual birthday calendar. Other: gold embossing powder.
Oh my! I love that Brushed Off stamp image. It looks like soft lovely warmth falling down with the hearts, just like hugs and prayers. Beautiful card.
