Snowflakes...
November 16, 2015
Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? And yet I can’t get into making any more fall cards (well, I have one for tomorrow) so Christmas cards it is! I have so many lovely Christmas stamps that need a work out so I will see what I can get done this year!
Today’s card is all about snow. I am not quite ready to see a bunch of the white stuff but once Thanksgiving is over I am generally ready to see some snow.
I am playing along with two challenges – Freshly Made Sketches (sketch) and The Friday Mashup (colors). I stamped some snowflakes in mint macaron, pool party and smokey slate in a large square/small square type of pattern. My card really stretches the FMS sketch but I am going to enter it anyway. I added the sentiment by white heat embossing it on black and then a bit of bling.
Thanks for stopping by today – be sure to stop in tomorrow!
Supplies: CS: SU! smokey slate, basic black. PTI white. Inks: SU! pool party, mint macaron and smokey slate. Stamps: SU! happy scenes. PTI peace be still. Other: White embossing powder. Rhinestones.
This is fantastic Jane! The white sentiment on black really pops against the other colors!
Thanks for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!
