Retro Rubber Challenge #32...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! Today is a theme challenge all about winter! Just use winter or outdoor themes and you are good to go! Don’t forget to mention how old your stamps are!

RRCB 32

I used this cute snow angel image from the SU! Wonderful Winterland stamp set which came out in 2013.   I loved to make snow angels when I was a kid. So I stamped and colored this image and die cut with the mini stitched scallop circle die.

I made the background by using some distress inks randomly on my gingham background stamp and then applying to the white cardstock. I ran both the circle die cut and the card front thru the linen impression plate. I added some wild wasabi twine and the sentiment and then adhered to kraft cardstock.

You have a SU stamp that I don't have and now it is looking so sweet with your use of it!! Love the random partial coloration of the gingham background image and the wasabi twine. Love looking at your CAS cards for these unusual details... so much fun.

Snow Angel!! What a fun card Jane, I love it! The background is making me swoon with joy, so clever. Cx

Oh Jane, I love this Snow Angel, she reminds me of my daughters and grandkids when they were little and did just that.
Such a sweet image, I love the Gingham stamp, I'm going to look for it, I love that you can ink it with different inks to get that lovely design.
I've been meaning to get some stitched dies, they add such wonderful texture to your cards.
Thank you for sharing.
Big Hugs,
Maria.

Wow! I do not recall that adorable SU stamp at all! You certainly are making me feel sorry that I didn't get it while I had a chance. I am also making a list of all of the great products you used as well. That scallop stitched framelit is one that will be on my next product hunt! Also, the linen impressions plate! Can I come and see what other fun stuff you have??
