Orange You Glad I Am Thinking Of You...
March 31, 2016
Hello! Today I am playing along with the Pals Paper Arts challenge. It is a sketch challenge and I played a little fast and loose with it.
I started by stamping the image with a distress ink and then misting with water. I then stamped it on watercolor paper and let it dry.
I added the image to a piece of pumpkin pie and then tied some linen thread around it. I adhered to the crumbcake base, added a sentiment, and was done.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow!
PS: Did March go out like a lion or a lamb in your neck of the woods? It was a lamb here!
Supplies: CS: SU! crumbcake and pumpkin pie. Watercolor paper. Inks: Memento black. Spiced Marmalade distress ink. Stamps: SU! postage due. Avery Elle simply said hello. Other: SU! linen thread.

Sweet card, Jane. I love the collage stamping you did and the linen thread was the perfect touch to go with it! Thanks for playing at the PPA this week and for using my sketch. It's up in the air about lion or lamb here…right now it's lamb but we're suppose to get storms later today, so we'll see! :)

Beautiful card - I've always been partial to "Pumpkin Pie";) I'm just wondering what is the name / brand of the stamped image and the exact distress colour you used?
Thanks!

Once again a super fun card. I must admit one color I rarely use is the pumpkin pie but wow– it looks fabulous! Thanks a bunch for playing once again this week with the pals
