Retro Rubber Challenge #33 part two...
March 08, 2016
It’s the second week of the Retro Rubber sketch challenge! And I am using the lovely colors from the Sunday Stamps challenge of pink, chocolate, and white. Bonus – I can play along with the NBUS challenge again today. Does this mean I have way too many new stamps? I think so!!
I switched things up a bit by using a large sentiment die cut for the shapes. I cut three sentiments out of pink pirouette and adhered them together using Elmer’s spray adhesive. This stuff makes life so much easier!
I added the rest of the sentiment in chocolate chip ink and then piled on the bling. This card is going to a friend of mine who has had an unexpected medical emergency! So I am definitely sending prayers her way!
Be sure to play along with Retro Rubber! Link up HERE! The challenge closes on March 11.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to swing in tomorrow!
Supplies: CS: SU! white, chocolate chip, and pink pirouette. Stamps/Dies: SSS prayers and dies. PTI linen impression plate. Inks: SU! chocolate chip. Other: SU! pearls and candy dots.
Oh Jane!! I love this card! so simple and sweet : ) WOW!!

Your gorgeous CAS card caught my attention in the NBUS gallery so I had to pop over and read more. I love the design and the way you used the layered die cut! It's inspiring. I'm a new follwer of the Retro Challenge Blog too; it sounds like another fun way to use the stamps in my collection!
