Today’s card was made for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. Once again a great sketch with a lot of possibilities!

I started by die cutting an umbrella out of pattern paper, soft stone, and black and then pieced the black and pattern paper onto the soft stone.

The sentiment is from the PTI Phrases and Praises stamp set. I liked it paired with the “protection” of the umbrella.

Finally, I added a strip of color down the side, not necessarily part of the sketch but I felt the card needed just a bit more color.
