Friends And Flowers...

So I recently bought the SU! garden in bloom stamp set. And I cannot believe I waited so long to buy it! It has some nice fonts and images that can make your cards look like you spent hours watercoloring them!

And I thought today would be a great day to show the card I made with this stamp set. I am using the colors from the Pals Paper Art challenge of Bermuda bay, cucumber crush and crumbcake.

I stamped the flower image first in black and then used the Bermuda bay. By stamping off the larger flower image once and then using the smaller image at full strength, I got this wonderful layered look.

Then I masked off the flowers and stamped the leaves – first in black and then in cucumber crush. I added the sentiment and die cut the square. After I popped the square up on the crumbcake, I added a few candy dots and rhinestones.

Jane, your stash of stitched framelits makes me so jealous! AND I have been playing with this exact stamp set all week, trying to get it to look as pretty as yours does already. You make CAS look wonderful and I love this card!!
