Another Brick In the Wall...
May 09, 2016
Happy Monday! Today’s card was made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and the Color Throwdown (peach, light blue, pink and orange) challenge.
I decided to use my colors in a stencil of a brick wall and then add a quick sentiment. I started by using my inks and my new clarity stencil brushes (they are awesome!) and quickly whipped up the background. I started with peach, added the blue, then pink and finally the orange.
I die cut seriously out of peach parfait paper several times and then layered them together. I adhered to the base and added the “you rock”. Putting this card together was fast and easy! Plus I couldn’t help but sing the Pink Floyd song “Another Brick in the Wall” as I was making this card!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow! A new challenge starts at Retro Rubber tomorrow and I am back on schedule with posts Monday thru Friday!
Supplies: CS: SU! white and peach parfait. Inks: SU! peach parfait, marina mist, pink pirouette and pumpkin pie. Memento black. Dies/Stencils: MFT small brick wall. Lil Inkers seriously die. Stamps: Lil Inkers seriously awesome.
Great design! The stenciled background is a perfect match for your sentiment. Thanks for joining us for this week's Color Throwdown!
