Retro Rubber Challenge #38 part two...
May 17, 2016
It’s the second week of the Retro Rubber Challenge and I sort of played along with it! This one is a color challenge and perfect to combine with a sketch challenge (i.e. CAS(E) this Sketch)!
I started by using two of the colors – red and yellow. Then I added black and thought – I just made a Mickey Mouse colored card! LOL! I stamped the “splatter” in real red using the SU! gorgeous grunge stamp set.
Then I die cut three quadrangles and adhered together. While I was busy die cutting, I cranked out three hellos and glued together. I added the quadrangle and hello to the front of the card and was done!
Be sure to play along with us at Retro Rubber! You can link up your awesomely colored card HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!
Supplies: CS: PTI white and soft stone. SU! daffodil delight and basic black. Stamps: SU! gorgeous grunge. Dies: SSS quadrangle frames. PTI noted and linen impression plate. Inks: SU! real red.
Oh, this is so fun! Fabulous take on the sketch!
