House of Cards May Challenge...
Retro Rubber Challenge #37 part two...

Spring Daffodils...

Happy Monday! It feels forever since I have said that! I have missed my crafty time and blogging! I hope to be back on schedule with a post Monday thru Friday. Although as I write this, I only have Monday thru Wednesday covered!

Today’s card was made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and pairs nicely with The Card Concept challenge of spring flowers!  And it ties in nicely with the Addicted to CAS challenge - code word plaid!

I started by stamping this wonderful daffodil flower and using chalks to color it in with a bit of chalk around the flower as well. My favorite spring flowers have to be daffodils, lilacs, and tulips! They look so happy!

I flipped the sketch a bit by putting my plaid paper and soft sky trim on the right side with the image and sentiment on the left. I ran the card front thru the linen impression plate and thru the scallop rectangle die before popping up on crumbcake.

There you have it, super clean and simple! Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!

I would like to say a huge Thank You to Sandie at The Card Concept for selecting THIS card as a winner of their last challenge!

Supplies: CS: SU! white, soft sky, and crumbcake. Lawn Fawn plaid papers. Stamps: Clearly Besotted miniature florals. Inks: Memento black. Chalks. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. MFT blueprints 20.

Firstly, thanks you for the 'thank you'. A well deserved win. And this is another beauty. I adore the simple flowers coloured so softly. Daffodils are my fav Spring Flower. Thanks for joining TCC and you know this would be good for the lasted challenge at Addicted to CAS, the theme is plaid x

I love your sweet flower with the softly colored plaid! The scalloped edges are just the right look. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
