Anniversary Flowers...

Today’s card was made for the Sunday Stamps challenge. They have a sketch challenge going on this week.

I started with some pattern paper from my stash and die cut using my wonky rectangle dies. I inked up this corn flower image with pumpkin pie and always artichoke ink and stamped on some white cardstock.

I die cut the image with my wonky stitched dies as well and then layered the two pieces together. I added a sentiment and flagged both ends and then added to the card base.

A Flowery Thank You...

Happy Monday! Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. And although the sketch may seem simple, I love that every sketch the DT produces always tests my creativity!

I started today’s card by digging some flowery pattern paper out of my stash, cutting it in different sizes and then backing it with lost lagoon.

Www.seejanestamp.com fms 1 (544x640)

To break up the flowers, I added a strip of delightful Dijon between them. Then I stamped the flower image from the SU! number of years stamp set in pear pizzazz, delightful Dijon and calypso coral. I die cut the flower, added the sentiment and some pearls.

Www.seejanestamp.com fms 2 (640x330)

Then it was just a matter of layering everything up. I love how this card came out!

Bloom With Joy...

Friday at last! Yay! A clean and simple card to end the week!

I used this layer stamp from the SU! what I love stamp set. I stamped the outline at full strength Bermuda bay and added the second layer in a stamped off Bermuda bay.

Www.seejanestamp.com joy 1 (512x640)

I added the third layer with full strength pool party. I thought this bloom was so pretty on its own that I added a simple sentiment underneath.

Finally, I adhered the card front to the crumbcake base and ran everything thru the linen impression plate.

June Pals Blog Hop...

2016badge-lagoon

We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring projects that are based on “B“ themes such as Birthday, Bride or Baby. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

Hello all! I am so glad you are hopping along with us today! My B word today is birthday! I have been wanting to play with the Balloon Builders stamp set and since I needed a birthday card anyway – two birds, one stone!

Www.seejanestamp.com june pals 1 (508x640)

I started by creating the balloon wiener dog with several of these builder stamps. I tried quite a number of different balloons until I got the shape of the dog I wanted. Perseverance pays off!

Www.seejanestamp.com june pals 2 (640x534)

Next I stamped the balloon and drew the string. Finally, using some ink and a cotton ball, added the sky and ground. I decided to keep the diagonal going by placing the sentiment at a diagonal as well. A fun, whimsical card for the party animal in your life!

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

Retro Rubber Challenge #40...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! This time we have a lovely sketch that should give your imagination a run for your money!

RRCB 40

I started with this cute little crab which I stamped and then used some chalk to redden him up. I used my mini stitched scallop circles to cut him out.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 40 1 (543x640)

I added some striped paper and then a bit of washi for where the sentiment would go. I popped Mr. Crab up with some dimensionals and added some bling. I am in a beachy (not the other! LOL!) mood this week!  (Mr. Crab is from the delightful SU! set It's The Thought which came out in 2010.)

Sail Away With Me...

Happy Monday! What a fast weekend this was! We had beautiful weather and it was just wonderful to spend a weekend relaxing! And crafting, of course! Today’s card is based off the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and also using the nautical theme from The Curtain Call.

I started by die cutting a stencil out of my striped scallop thinlets and then used some marina mist ink and a paint brush to ink up a wavy background.

Www.seejanestamp.com fms 1 (532x640)

Then I die cut the boat several times and stacked together for a bit of depth. I stamped the sentiment, ran the card front thru the linen impression plate and added the boat and some bling. Finally, I glued the card front to the crumbcake base and was done.

A Dad Theme For As You See It...

Welcome to a new As You See It Challenge! This time we have a theme challenge for you and since Father’s Day is this month – it’s a theme about dads!

#136 June 3 16

I decided to make a little work bench area. So I used some aluminum tape and ran it through my pegboard cover plate.  The tape looks like it bubbles up in these pictures but in real life, it's actually smooth.  I found this tape really shows the marks and indents.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 136 1 (586x640)

Then I die cut some handy tools out of kraft and the aluminum tape. I added the tape on the tools to make them look “realistic”. Then it was a matter of stamping the sentiment and adding the die cuts to the card base.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 136 2 (640x452)

A fun card for Father’s Day! Be sure to play along with us and link up HERE!

Thanks for stopping by today! I am off for the weekend but will be back on Monday!
