Retro Rubber Challenge #40...
June 07, 2016
Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! This time we have a lovely sketch that should give your imagination a run for your money!
I started with this cute little crab which I stamped and then used some chalk to redden him up. I used my mini stitched scallop circles to cut him out.
I added some striped paper and then a bit of washi for where the sentiment would go. I popped Mr. Crab up with some dimensionals and added some bling. I am in a beachy (not the other! LOL!) mood this week! (Mr. Crab is from the delightful SU! set It's The Thought which came out in 2010.)
It’s your turn! Be sure to give this sketch a try and link up your awesomeness HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!
Supplies: CS: PTI white. Striped paper from stash. Stamps: SU! it’s the thought. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. MFT mini stitched scallop circles. Other: Rhinestones, chalks and washi.
Too funny (the sentiment!) and such an effective use of all of the sketch elements. Love this little crab!

LOL!! Craby?..... You?..... No way Jane!!! This is just such a fun image, oh my goodness!! I should borrow this stamp and make several cards for my oldest daughter, LOL!! so she can give them to her hubby, who is ever so patient with her and her often crabby attitude, sheeesh!!
Thank you for the laugh this fine morning.

Love this Jane, so CAS and perfect. I have a thing about Crabs..its a long story, but my UK based Craft Buddy and I send each other all kinds of Crab stuff and virtually every card we send each other has a crab on it!! Cx

Oh, Jane, what an adorable CAS card - but can't imagine you ever needing this one! LOL The details on your cards are always perfectly done. Great card!!
