Hello For The AYSI...

Welcome to a new As You See It Challenge! We have a fun sketch for you today!

#139 Jul 15 16

I started with my sunburst stamp set and randomly stamped the images in a variety of colors. Then I ran the cardstock thru the linen plate and cropped two of the corners.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 139 1 (548x640)

I die cut “hello” out of crumbcake 3 times and then one time out of some patterned vellum. I stacked them all up with the vellum on top. I thought the pattern kind of mimicked my sunburst stamps.  I added some thread and layered everything together with some candy dots for the finishing touches.

A Patterned Thanks...

I am finally getting to play along with the July Reverse Confetti sketch for you to try challenge. I haven’t played along in months so I was happy I could get this card done for it!

38_July2016

I started with some pattern paper and coastal cabana that I backed with vanilla cream. Then I used a stitched rectangle to put a little interest around the edges.

All You Need Is Love...

Today I am playing along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. Another fun sketch to try to come up with a card to do it justice!

This card ended up being super CAS and easy to put together. I stamped the background spots in pink pirouette, blocking out a little white space to put the couple.

Www.seejanestamp.com cts 1 (578x640)

Then I stamped the couple and added the little hearts. Of course I had to run the card thru my linen impression plate to finish it off.

Note To Self...

Today I am playing along with a fairly new challenge called CAS Mix Up Challenge. This challenge is all about clean and simple with a bit of mixed media thrown in. So I decided to dip my toe in the pond!

I stamped this flower and then colored in with my SU! markers. I used the tips of my markers to dot the center of the flower until I was satisfied with the mix of colors.

Www.seejanestamp.com casmm 1 (521x640)

I added the sentiment and then ran the card thru a gridlines impression plate. The challenge was to use stamps, markers and a third item of my choice and I picked embossing.

With Sympathy...

Wednesday already? I know! Today’s card was made for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

I started by stamping the brushed circle image in crisp cantaloupe and then adding the sentiment in black.

Then using more crisp cantaloupe and calypso coral ink, I created these little flowers and then die cut them. I added a few leaves and then adhered to the card base.

Retro Rubber Challenge #42...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! We have an embellishment challenge for you this time so break out your brads and eyelets and put them on a card!

RRCB 42

I made a birthday card to give to a dear friend of mine who is older than me as I LOVE to remind her! To incorporate both brads and eyelets (you only need to use one or the other but I am an overachiever!), I made a “picture” to hang on the card.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 42 1 (545x640)

I stamped a bitty flower and the sentiment (both stamps I have had over a year – more like about two I would guess) and then die cut using the stitched mini scallop die.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 42 2 (640x474)

Then I added some pink eyelets and thread and “hung” on a brad. I think she will like it!
