Retro Rubber Challenge #42...
July 05, 2016
Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! We have an embellishment challenge for you this time so break out your brads and eyelets and put them on a card!
I made a birthday card to give to a dear friend of mine who is older than me as I LOVE to remind her! To incorporate both brads and eyelets (you only need to use one or the other but I am an overachiever!), I made a “picture” to hang on the card.
I stamped a bitty flower and the sentiment (both stamps I have had over a year – more like about two I would guess) and then die cut using the stitched mini scallop die.
Then I added some pink eyelets and thread and “hung” on a brad. I think she will like it!
Be sure to play along with us! Link up your fab creations HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!
Supplies: CS: PTI white. SU! crumbcake. Stamps: PTI bitty bouquets. SSS sketchy banner greetings. Other: MFT mini stitched scallop squares. PTI linen impression plate. Eyelets. Brads. SU! linen thread.

Hello Jane: Oh, your friend will totally love it, I like the idea of this "picture" hanging on the "wall".
Totally CAS and beautiful.
Did you use the Cropadile (is this what it's called?) for the eyelets? I've seen this tool but I don't have one, I apply my eyelets the old fashioned way, by hammering them with this little tool and my hammer.
Hugs,
Maria.

Well, you sure showed me how to use BOTH an eyelet and brad on a card. Not only that but you did it with your perfectly wonderful CAS style. I do not know how you do that but all I can do is say "WOW, beautiful card!" Love it!!
