Retro Rubber Challenge #48...
September 27, 2016
Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! This challenge is an embellishment challenge and embraces the use of ribbon, lace or twine on your card. That’s it! Yep, bust out your old stamps, throw on some ribbon, lace or twine and you are all set!
I started by going with a bit of a retro theme! I die cut several retro shapes out of some “retro” (retired SU! paper) and some fresh new pattern paper. I layered the pieces a bit randomly, adhered to the card base and then stamped the sentiment. The sentiment was part of the PTI stamp a faire challenge from 2014.
My final step was to staple the grey shape to some lost lagoon ribbon and adhere to the rest of the shapes. I say this because I figured out pretty quickly that the ribbon interfered with getting a good image of the sentiment. Good thing I have lots of white cardstock! LOL!
Now it’s your turn! Be sure to play along and link up your card HERE!
I am also entering this card in the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!
