Retro Rubber Challenge #47 part two...

Kindred Spirits...

Hello all! I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge today and whipped up a cute card to send off to a friend of mine.

I started by stamping a measuring tape and then adding some measuring tape washi next to it. 30 (551x640)

Next I added a “quilting” square and then stamped the sentiment half on and half off the square. Finally I ran the card through my linen impression plate. 31 (640x422)

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow!

Supplies: CS: SU! very vanilla and afternoon picnic dsp. Stamps: PTI quilters’ sampler sentiment. Measuring tape stamp from stash. Inks: SU! soft suede. Memento black. Other: PTI linen impression plate. Washi tape.

I love this! My mom is a quilter so I'm always looking for stamps and ideas to make cards for her. She would love this one! Great card. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Beautiful card and a fabulous sentiment! The measuring tapes are a great idea for the vertical panel. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

Lovely card Jane. As a quilter, it appeals to me a lot and I've not seen these stamps before.
