Yellow Mums...

Thanks to the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember celebration I was able to pick up these beautiful chrysanthemums layering stamps. So easy to use to create flowers that look like you spent hours on them.

I stamped three flowers and added a few leaves. After stamping the sentiment, I ran the card thru my linen plate and was done.

Halloween Specs...

I played along with the Paper Players color challenge to use black, pumpkin pie and wild wasabi.

As I was looking for some stamps, I came across these eyeglasses and thought – why not?

Merry Little Trees...

I rarely play along with the same challenge twice in a week but I am today with CAS(E) this Sketch.

I started by stamping trees in a vertical stripe and then adding the trimmings. I stamped the sentiment and then ran the card thru the linen plate.

Www.seejanestamp.com cts 1 (531x640)

I added the enamel stars because Christmas trees should have stars, right? I think I played a bit fast and loose with this challenge but it was a great jumping off point for a card that would be easy to mass produce!

Fall Birthdays...

Hello Monday! Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and came up with a fall themed birthday card.

I started by stamping a variety of leaves that are multi layered stamps. I love stamps that allow you to give depth to an image without doing anything. Just adding another stamp in a darker color!

Www.seejanesetamp.com fms 1 (530x640)

I added the birthday sentiment and then using a curved die, cut a lovely curve in the card front and in the cajun craze layer as well. After I adhered the card front to the base, I decided to continue the curved feel on the base.

I love how this turned out as it is going to a good friend who recently celebrated their 50th birthday.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow as we will be starting a new Retro Rubber Challenge.

Supplies: CS: SU! white, cajun craze, and crumbcake. Stamps: SSS/Altenew be-leaf me. CB message me. Inks: SU! cherry cobbler, crushed curry, cajun craze, old olive, and pumpkin pie. Memento black. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. SSS curved edge die.

Think Pink For The Brown Sugar Challenge...

I am very excited to announce that as of today I am joining the Brown Sugar Challenge Design Team! I am thrilled! This week’s challenge is to “Think Pink” and our sponsor is My Besties!

HappyCrafting_zps06062671

I choose this fun image and went for it with a pink pumpkin. I colored this image using my ziggies and a bit of water. I added some chalk to ground the pumpkin and some blue for the sky.

Boo To You...

I whipped up a fun Halloween card for the Fab Friday challenge.

I decided I was going with a ghost theme and dug out this fun ghost dsp for the background. I did add a layer of black behind it so it would be set off a bit from the white card base.

Www.seejanestamp.com ff 1 (546x640)

I die cut a wonky shape out of cajun craze and used my wonky stitched die to cut a peek-a-boo window for the cute ghost to pop out of. I added the sentiment and was done.

That’s it for today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow for some fun news!

Vintage Ornaments...

It’s Wednesday already and just in time I am playing along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

As I was digging through my Christmas stamps, I happened upon this lovely tree branch stamp that I know I have never used! And I have had it for years! So I inked it up with two different greens and two browns on the pinecones and stamped away.

Www.seejanestamp.com cts 1 (563x640)

I added three vintage ornaments and used my markers to color them in. I drew in the ornament hangers and added the sentiment before running thru my linen impression plate. I love the font on the sentiment – it is from the Clearly Besotted message me stamp set that has a raft of great sentiments in this luscious font. You will be seeing these regularly I am afraid!

Www.seejanestamp.com cts 2 (640x310)

I added the card front to an old olive base and the card was done. Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow!

Retro Rubber Challenge #48 part two...

Welcome to the second week of the Retro Rubber Challenge! The challenge is to use twine, ribbon, or lace.

I decided to use a few shades of twine and coordinate some lightly stamped snowflakes both behind the twine and on the stitched circle.

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 48 3 (640x539)

I added the sentiment and put the card together. There’s plenty of time to play along so link up your card HERE!
