Copper Trees...
A Fall Rainbow...

Retro Rubber Challenge #50...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! We have a photo inspiration for you and it’s all about fall colors!

I was inspired by all of the fall colors in the trees so naturally I used my SU! Lovely As A Tree stamp set. I have had this stamp set for four or five years and I am not sure how long it’s been around before that. rrcb 50 1 (640x514)

I used my chalks and colored up the trees, ground and sky. Then I added a piece of fall plaid and a thin piece of copper foil to finish off the card. I couldn’t decide on a sentiment so I didn’t use one! rrcb 50 2 (640x354)

Be sure to play along with us and link up your colorful creations HERE!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop in tomorrow!

Supplies: CS: PTI white and kraft. LF fall plaid. SU! copper foil paper. Stamps: SU! lovely as a tree. Inks: SU! early espresso. Chalks. Other: PTI linen impression plate.

Jane, love your card, great flashes of colour in your lovely trees. I especially love the pinkish tips. Clairex

You don't have to decide to use a sentiment right now, but it is funny the reason why the card is sentimentless, LOL! Great use of chalks, I will have to remember to dig mine out, they are perfect for this card!

I love the use of chalks on this card, Jane! I forget all about my chalks... I really liked using them on top of Versamark ink. The plaid and copper was the perfect touch!!

This is so lovely. Thanks for the reminder to use chalks once again.

Gosh, you don't see chalks used much anymore, but I still love mine and use them now and then. You gave your image such a soft, lovely touch of color with them. Now I'm all inspired!

Hello Jane: This stamp set is one of the first ones I bought a few years ago, If I'm not mistaken, Lovely as a Tree came out back in 2006 and I believe I've had it that long.
I love this card, all the colors of the challenge are beautifully done with chalks, amazing!!!
It's good to have some cards without sentiments, that way you can just add one depending on the occasion.
Beautiful card!!

Jane! Lovely as a tree is one of my favorite SU stamp sets! Your card is perfect for the challenge, great colors you created with the chalk.

Christine Traversa

As usual I am here drooling over your blog projects!

Love how you chalked the trees! Super effect! I need to pull out my chalks! Thanks for the inspiration!❤️
