Stars And Circles...

Happy Monday! I have had zero time as of late to do any crafting and finally got to squeeze in a few hours this weekend. And the first card I whipped up was for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started with a die cut that would cut a string of circles in the cardstock and then added a bit of plaid paper behind them.

I added the sentiment and then ran thru the linen impression plate. Next, I die cut two sketchy stars out of pool party and copper foil paper and adhered to the card. Finally I added the sentiment and was done!

Retro Rubber Challenge #51...

Welcome to the new Retro Rubber Challenge! This challenge is a color inspiration challenge with a thankful theme thrown in.

RRCB 51

I started with the wheat image from the Stampin’ Up! set Truly Grateful. It’s been out since at least 2013. I stamped it in crushed curry and then added the sentiment from the PTI Autumn Hills set (circa 2012).

After die cutting the card front using a stitched rectangle, I layered it on two other stitched rectangles. I wanted to make sure I put all the colors in so I added a few strips underneath everything.
