Retro Rubber Challenge #51...
November 08, 2016
Welcome to the new Retro Rubber Challenge! This challenge is a color inspiration challenge with a thankful theme thrown in.
I started with the wheat image from the Stampin’ Up! set Truly Grateful. It’s been out since at least 2013. I stamped it in crushed curry and then added the sentiment from the PTI Autumn Hills set (circa 2012).
After die cutting the card front using a stitched rectangle, I layered it on two other stitched rectangles. I wanted to make sure I put all the colors in so I added a few strips underneath everything.
It’s your turn! Be sure to play along with us and link up HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today! I haven’t had much time to create as of late so my posts may be fairly scarce over the next couple of weeks!
Supplies: CS: SU! white, crumbcake, pumpkin pie, elegant eggplant, always artichoke, crushed curry, and real red. Inks: SU! crushed curry. Memento black. Stamps: SU! truly grateful. PTI autumn hills. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. SSS stitched rectangles.
What a great simple way to use the colors of the challenge! Love the layering of the images!

Love the colorful panels of color, Jane. Especially the vertical panels in different heights. Great way to introduce color!

You always inspire me with your CAS cards, Jane. I would have never thought to use the colored cardstock like this but as soon as you do it, I absolutely love it! Fantastic sentiment image as well. Hope you are having a great weekend, my friend!
