Retro Rubber Challenge #58...
March 14, 2017
Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! It’s anything goes!
As usual, I have a super CAS card for you. I started by stamping the leaf image and the sentiment in black. These images are from Simon Says Stamp Explore Nature which I have had since 2015.
Then I used colored pencils to color the leaf. I ran the card thru the linen impression plate and was done.
Be sure to play along with us! Just use at least one stamp older than a year and link up HERE!
Thanks for stopping by! I had hoped to be posting all this week but just couldn’t get much crafting done. My plan is to be back posting on Monday – no excuses! Have a great week!
Supplies: CS: PTI white. Stamps: SSS explore nature. Dies: PTI linen impression plate. Other: Colored pencils. Memento black ink.
Well, considering that you are just getting over the "yuck" that so many people have been battling, you definitely should not be pushing your creative side too hard! But I am glad to see you back in your craft room and sharing such a lovely CAS style... our Jane is back!! The colors for the leaf are gorgeous!! :)

Awesome CAS card Jane, that colorful leaf takes center stage beautifully.
Love the sentiment, it's so inspiring and the font makes me think of the old typewriters of my long ago youth. ;)
Glad you are feeling better!!
Hugs,
Maria.

Jane, I love this stamp set, never ever thought of turning the 'tree' on it's side, you CAS genius you. love the bright pop of colour too. I need colour this week with all this hideous snow! Clairex

You always do CAS so well, I am learning from a master in the technique! It is funny that Clair thinks it is tree and you call it a leaf, it could be both!

You seem to have a stash of interesting sentiment stamps Jane. I'm always in awe of the way you make simple and clean look so beautiful.
