Retro Rubber Challenge #60...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! It’s a theme challenge to use baby critters on a card.

RRCB 60

This was actually more of a challenge than I thought! I dug deep and used my SU! Barnyard Babies stamp set that came out in 2015.

I stamped the lamb and a little chick and colored with my pencils and some chalk. I added a sentiment and a few pearls and a candy dot. I added a bit of pattern paper as well to be able to play along with the sketch challenge at Fab Friday.

Super sweet! I just had my Barnyard Babies out for a card the other day - the sheep is my fave! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

The chalking of the images gives such a soft "baby" look to the scene. My favorite detail is the banner with the bling... I love that it is not "perfect" cut! We had lambs on the brain this challenge!! :)

I don't have many animal stamp sets and do not have this one. I might have to find a few to add to my collection after seeing your adorable CAS card. Love the muted tones on the crumb cake.

The chalks add such a softness, almost a glow, to the animals. Love that quirky DSP - I thought it was washi to begin with. You must have a huge paper stash as you always seem to have just the right thing. Although it would be more accurate to say that you have the glorious skill of making it into just the right thing! :-)

I love the simplicity of your card Jane, only a few elements to make a big impact. You have just reminded me about chalks, I need to dig mine out and have a little play, I was addicted to chalks at one point! Clairex

Jane, your card is adorable. I love how the sheep is looking at the little chick. Love the CAS look of your card and the layout.

Maria Rodriguez

Adorable baby barn yard critters, love the soft colors and the little bling of that awesome pattern paper.
Hugs,
Maria.

As usual another fabulous CAS card! I like the coloring with chalk and pencils, a softer look than with markers! I might have to play along with the sketch challenge as well!

Christine Traversa

Love the critter theme with the sketch! The chalking and CAS style rocks! As always! You inspire me so much!❤️❤️
