Retro Rubber Challenge #68...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  We have a color inspiration based on the photo in the challenge image.

RRCB 68

I loved the checkered cloth so I decided to use that as my background by using a stencil and some red ink.

I stamped the chair image and then used my colored pencils.  This is from the SU! cherish friendship stamp set.  I have had this set since 2011.  I added the sentiment and ran the card thru the linen impression plate.

Oh wow! Who'd have thought that a single chair could create such an emotional punch, paired up like that with the sentiment. Soft in colour and very touching. Fabulous card, Jane.

Jane, you have reminded me that I have the chair stamp image also. Your coloring of the chair really pops! Love this card!!

Oh I love your subtle background, like it's been sun-bleached. Gorgeous and again super CAS. Cx

Jan, i love your card, I love the settled red gingham in the background....and the chair with the flowers is perfect for the challenge. I don't remember this set, wish I had gotten it. Thanks for the inspiration.
