Retro Rubber Challenge #75...

Autumn Leaves For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a fun sketch that you should enjoy interpreting into an awesome card!

#162 11.3.17

I started by cutting three strips of paper and adhered to the card base.  I stamped a small leaf to take the place of the dot on the sketch.

Then I die cut a rectangle using my new PTI brushed off rectangle dies.  Now that I have broken them out, I am going to be using them.  I love the shape you get!

Then I stamped a larger leaf to represent the bottom square and the sentiment for the top square in the sketch.  I added a few dots in place of a ribbon.  After I put everything together, I wished I would have added some twine instead of the dots!

I am entering this card in the Fab Friday Challenge (colors) and the Fusion Challenge (leaves).  Let’s just hope I remember to link them up!

This is SO lovely! Love those clean bands of colors - fabulous sketch! What a cool detail on the edging of the leaf panel, too. Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

I like the strips of colors and the dots! The dots are a great way to bring a little bit of our challenge colors onto the rectangle panel. Well done! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
