Retro Rubber Challenge #76...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s Anything Goes!

RRCB 76

I opted to go with a Christmas theme and dug out this cute nutcracker stamp from Simon Says Stamp’s Retro Christmas (2015).  I colored him in with colored pencils and then die cut the image.

I added the sentiment (I do like to do sideways sentiments) and a bit of twine and a few dots.  A strip of striped paper backed with some old olive was the final touch before I layered everything on an early espresso card base.

Artsy Shapes For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a great sketch for you to give a go.

#163 11.17.17

I started by stamping a number of shaped images, chalking them up and then fussy cutting them out.

Then I die cut the flagged shape and the arch, added the sentiment and then a bit of hemp.

Celebrate...

Yep, another post today!  Today I am playing along with the Card Concept challenge.  The challenge is Rich Holiday and I am not sure if that is the interpretation I came up with but what the hay!

My card is super CAS by using a few random damask images in Christmas colors on the card.

I added the sentiment, ran the card thru the linen impression plate, and then added some rhinestones.

Falling For You...

Can you believe it?  I have a post that is unrelated to any of my design teams!  I am easing back into posting a little more regularly!

I created a card using the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.  It was quite an interesting one so I did my best with my interpretation.

I used a maple leaf stencil to create a fall background and then added a few random leaves.  Using some stickers, I created a sentiment and was done.

I really like this card for some reason and hope you do too!

Retro Rubber Challenge #75...

Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a color inspiration and the challenge image provides a lot of color choices!

RRCB 75

I started with this image from Clearly Gina K Always Autumn from 2014.  I used my colored pencils before adding the sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s Keep It Simple Thanksgiving (2014).

Www.seejanestamp.com rrcb 75 1 (640x545)

Using the sketch from Paper Craft Crew, I added some white jute ribbon and a couple of pieces of cardstock – early espresso and crushed curry.  The early espresso with the chevron cut outs was one of the scraps that I found that went perfectly with the sketch and color challenge.

I layered everything together and then added a few dots and pearls.

Autumn Leaves For AYSI...

It’s a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a fun sketch that you should enjoy interpreting into an awesome card!

#162 11.3.17

I started by cutting three strips of paper and adhered to the card base.  I stamped a small leaf to take the place of the dot on the sketch.

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 162 1 (546x640)

Then I die cut a rectangle using my new PTI brushed off rectangle dies.  Now that I have broken them out, I am going to be using them.  I love the shape you get!

Www.seejanestamp.com aysi 162 2 (640x469)

Then I stamped a larger leaf to represent the bottom square and the sentiment for the top square in the sketch.  I added a few dots in place of a ribbon.  After I put everything together, I wished I would have added some twine instead of the dots!

Nov holiday and or colors

I started with a card base of sahara sand and added a mini scalloped layer of soft stone.  Although it basically looks white in the photo.  (sigh)

Www.seejanestamp.com HOC nov 1 (538x640)

I stamped a wintery type flower in red and green, added a sentiment and die cut using my mini stitched circles die.
