Retro Rubber Challenge #75...
November 07, 2017
Welcome to a new Retro Rubber Challenge! It’s a color inspiration and the challenge image provides a lot of color choices!
I started with this image from Clearly Gina K Always Autumn from 2014. I used my colored pencils before adding the sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s Keep It Simple Thanksgiving (2014).
Using the sketch from Paper Craft Crew, I added some white jute ribbon and a couple of pieces of cardstock – early espresso and crushed curry. The early espresso with the chevron cut outs was one of the scraps that I found that went perfectly with the sketch and color challenge.
I layered everything together and then added a few dots and pearls.
Be sure to play along with the Retro Rubber Challenge and link up HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Supplies: CS: PTI white and kraft. SU! early espresso and crushed curry. Stamps: Clearly Gina K always autumn (2014) and PTI KIS Thanksgiving (2014). Inks: SU! Sahara sand. Colored pencils. Memento black. Other: SU! dots, pearls and white jute ribbon.
Jane, love every single thing about this card, the image is beautiful and the texture you added with the jute ribbon and those sweet enamel dots really brings it to life.
Hugs,
Maria.

Jane, I love your card, I wish I was brave enough to use a piece of Jute the way you have done. Your colouring is amazing! Clairex

Your colouring is superb. The swag of jute ribbon is gorgeous and adds a touch of glamour and the bits of cardstock bring all the elements together. Lovely work, Jane.

Such great texture and coloring. Love how the scrap from the table added in a detail from the sketch you were using!
