It’s a new challenge at Retro Rubber!  Use the beautiful picture for your inspiration and create a card.

I opted to use the colors to inspire me.  I love the pink, gold and white combination.  So I started by die cutting this leaf pattern and backing it with gold paper.

I added the sentiment and a few hearts before adhering to the card base.  My sentiment stamp is from the 2016 Clearly Besotted Message Me stamp set.

It’s time for a new challenge at As You See It!  We have a fun sketch for you to try.

When I first saw this sketch, I knew my SU! bubble over stamp set and paper were going to get a work out!  I used a strip of patterned paper and backed it with some lemon lime twist cardstock.  Then I fussy cut the two bottles out of the pattern paper and adhered to the card.

I stamped random bubbles and added a few dots and rhinestones.  Finally, I added the sentiment and was done.

It’s a new year and a new challenge at the Retro Rubber Challenge!  It’s a color challenge – white on white with the use of one neutral.

I really struggled with this challenge until I finally came up with this beauty.  I used a quilted impression plate and a mini scallop rectangle to die cut this “quilt”.

I added a sentiment and then popped the quilt up on the white card base.  My sentiment stamp is from the 2008 Papertrey Ink Quilters Sampler sentiments.  I love this card!

We have a new challenge at As You See It!

I started by stamping the lavender in black and then stamping in a couple of purple colors as well as some green for the leaves and stems. 

I backed the image with some patterned and solid cardstock and adhered all together.

It’s a new month and a new challenge at House of Cards!  This month is mixed media and/or use the colors in the image.  I attempted to do a bit of both!

I started with three quarter inch strips of coral, green and yellow.  I die cut a shape and then used embossing paste and a stencil to create a harlequin pattern on pink paper.

I added the sentiment and attached everything to a card base of crumbcake.
