I started with a scooter from the SU! On The Grow stamp set from 2011.  I used my chalks to color in the scooter and flowers.

I die cut the image and then layered on a couple of die cut panels.  I added the sweet sentiment as who wouldn’t like a little happy mail of flowers!

It’s a new challenge for As You See It!  I love Amanda’s sketches and this one is no different!

I opted for a bit of a different take by using buttons as my square and round panels.  It’s just how I saw it!

I started by stamping this lovely friendship sentiment and then adding the buttons, thread and dots.  I popped one of the buttons up a bit on the other for more of a textural feel.

It’s a new challenge at Retro Rubber!  We are going crazy with dots and circles!

I am feeling inspired by the Olympics!  I love the sportsmanship, the come from behind wins and watching sports I would normally never watch.

My super CAS card is stamped with circles to form the Olympic symbol.  I am using my Clearly Besotted Sunburst stamps from 2015.  Then I added a fun sentiment and ran the card thru a dotty impression plate.

It’s a new challenge at As You See It.  Fill in this blank:  My first stamp or craft tool was:  a crimper!  Or the brayer – I think I bought them at the same time.

It was fun to bust out my crimper tool.  I ran a couple of pieces of cardstock thru the crimper before adding to my card base.  Are you familiar with a crimper?  It’s a tool that corrugates paper.  It’s really a cool way to get some texture on your card so one would think I would use it more!

For my image, I stamped the lovely little bouquet and then colored with my chalks.  I added the sentiment and linen thread after I added a bit of blue chalk around the image.  It’s hard to see the blue but in real life it gives a nice antiquey feel to the card.

Happy February!  It’s a new challenge at House of Cards.  Use the colors or create a valentine background or both.

I used a bit of both the colors and the background.  I started by using some versamark ink and a heart filled vine to stamp in the middle of the card.

Then I die cut and stamped the two beakers, adhered them, and then added the sentiment and some hearts and rhinestones.
