Patterns For House Of Cards...

The first day of August means it’s a new challenge at House of Cards.  The challenge for this month is to use pattern paper, the colors in the challenge image, or both.

August Patterned Paper and or colors

I opted to use pattern papers for this challenge.  I found some lovely coordinating papers and cut strips that I adhered to a base of lost lagoon. hoc august 1 (530x640)

I debated about how to add a sentiment and finally landed on using a strip of cardstock and attaching it to the bottom of the card.  I feel like it gives a bit of weight to all of the patterns. hoc august 2 (640x636)

A few rhinestones for some sparkle and I was done.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies:  CS:  SU! lost lagoon.  PTI everyday blessings.  Dies:  PTI linen impression plate.  Stamps:  PTI KIS missing you.  Other:  SU! rhinestones.
